Public Water Service
Public water is provided in the western and southern areas of the Township. These areas include two water service providers. These providers are: (Northampton Borough Municipal Authority (NBMA) and the City of Bethlehem), which invoice directly to the customer.
Please refer to the maps at the bottom of this page to determine areas of service.
In addition, Northampton Borough Municipal Authority also provides the billing service (on behalf of Allen Township) for Public Sanitary Sewer Customers connected to Allen Township’s Sanitary Sewer System in the form of a combined quarterly (residential) and monthly (commercial) Water/Sewer Invoice.

Private On-Lot Well
The PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) does not regulate private wells. However, since DEP provides a library of information to address many questions from homeowners about their privately-owned wells at the following location:
